Both oyster season and bay scallop season will open Sunday October 30th, 2011.
There are two places that have been planted with oysters this year. Scudder Lane (to the left) and West Bay (to the left between the 4th and 6th piers).
Bay St has residual oysters leftover from last years short season so there will be some bigger ones there. Nothing new was planted there this year.
Please note that Bay St. and North Bay are not open until Nov. 2nd for recreational harvest. |
